With the fall launch of the new Pirelli P Zero sun collection 2007, P Zero Pirelli has left its radial mark on the eyewear world and has signed a license agreement with De Rigo Vision, the world leader for the production and distribution of eyewear in the upper segment.

At almost five years since its debut, the Pirelli industrial design project is a successful reality in the field of design applied to clothing. Separating itself from the precepts of fashion and seasonal trends, in recent years a pool of experts have created versatile and complete collections whose quality and technology epitomize the P Zero Pirelli style.

"The new P Zero Sunglasses line is based on the P Zero style", commented Antonio Gallo, the P Zero project manager. "Thanks to the association with a company like De Rigo Vision, which is well-known for its considerable know-how in the eyewear sector, we have been able to develop a product that is characterized by precise research into materials, top quality and special attention to design." All the characteristics of the P Zero Pirelli world.

"The work with P Zero Pirelli was very complex because it required large investment in our research and development division", highlighted De Rigo Vision President Ennio De Rigo. "And in fact the product is special and very appealing not only because of the design but also for the choice of materials, workmanship, wearability and optical performance. The agreement with P Zero is very satisfying because it is the perfect example of Made in Italy and it is a highly creative and completely tailor-made project".

The tyre details inserted in rubber are a real innovation in the eyewear world and they will ensure that P Zero will also leave its distinctive track under the sun.
