Brando Eyewear Acquires Australian Eyewear Company Sunday Somewhere

Sunday SomewhereMondottica's luxury eyewear company Brando Eyewear has acquired Australian company Sunday Somewhere. Brando Eyewear's current brand portfolio includes names such as Yohji Yamamoto, Serge Kirchhofer and Philippe Chevalier. According to the company, the acquisition will continue to strengthen its position in the contemporary eyewear market.

“The team at Mondottica have invested abundance of energy and resources over the past few years establishing Brando,” said Michael Jardine, Brando’s chief dreamer. “The Brando family is a collection of in-house contemporary eyewear brands each with their own unique product and position in the market. Adding Sunday Somewhere to this portfolio only cements this commitment and passion for being a leader in the eyewear industry.”

Sunday Somewhere was founded in 2011 and currently distributes to over 1,000 stores in 30 countries.
