Jukurrpa Designs Introduces Two New Petite Frames Made with Biodegradable Acetate from Italy

jukurrpa petiteJukurrpa Designs, a renowned brand known for its spectacle frames inspired by Australian Aboriginal Artwork, has recently launched two new Petite Size designs that are now available in multiple stores and on their website. These new frames are perfect for individuals seeking a smaller frame or are suitable for kids and teenagers. Notably, Jukurrpa Designs has taken a significant step towards sustainability by crafting these frames from biodegradable acetate sourced from Italy.

The first addition to their collection is the Selma Napangardi Gibson - Petite Size frame, which boasts impressive specifications. Crafted from 100% Italian Mazzucchelli Acetate, it ensures a blend of elegance and eco-friendliness. German OBE Spring Hinges and Screws provide flexibility and durability, making them ideal for daily use. Jukurrpa Designs has also incorporated a 2-Year Manufacturing Warranty Against Defects, assuring customers of their commitment to quality.

What sets the Selma Napangardi Gibson frame apart is the original painting by the talented artist Selma Napangardi Gibson herself, which is showcased on a Microfibre Cloth. The package includes a spectacle case and a card that narrates the inspiring story behind the design on the frame. Moreover, 10% of the proceeds from the sale of this frame go directly back to the artists and their community, promoting fair compensation and support for indigenous Australian artists.

The second addition to the Petite Size collection is the Wendy Nungarrayi Brown - Petite Size frame. It features the same high-quality 100% Italian Mazzucchelli Acetate and German OBE Spring Hinges/Screws like its counterpart. The 2-Year Manufacturing Warranty provides peace of mind to customers, ensuring long-lasting satisfaction.

Similar to the previous frame, the Wendy Nungarrayi Brown frame showcases an original painting by the talented artist Wendy Nungarrayi Brown on a Microfibre Cloth. Additionally, it includes a Spectacle Case and a Card narrating the story behind the design, providing a deeper understanding of the Aboriginal art and culture. As with all frames from Jukurrpa Designs, 10% of the proceeds from this frame's sale are reinvested in the artists and their community, contributing to their social and economic well-being.

"We are delighted to present these new Petite Size frames crafted with biodegradable acetate from Italy," said Murray O'Keeffe, Managing Director of Jukurrpa Designs.
