AM Eyewear Marks 20th Anniversary with Star-Studded Celebration in Sydney

The 20th birthday bash, held at the Oxford Art Factory, brought together a diverse crowd of musicians, creatives, models, and industry influencers to commemorate the brand's remarkable journey from its humble beginnings to a global lifestyle phenomenon.

The celebration kicked off at 7 pm, drawing a celebrity-studded line of guests that stretched along Oxford Street. To mark this milestone, AM Eyewear unveiled a Limited Edition line of frames displayed at their Free Sunglass Bar inside the venue. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to snag a pair of specially released sunglasses featuring lenses from AM's globally acclaimed Beach to Bar range. The innovative light-responsive lenses adapt to sunlight, providing protection on even the sunniest days, making them the perfect accessory for all occasions, from festivals and beach clubs to nightclubs and favorite bars.

Television and radio presenter Danny Clayton served as the Master of Ceremonies, keeping the energetic audience engaged between performances by leading Australian artists. The stage was set ablaze by performances from CLYPSO, Telenova, Y.O.G.A, Jimi the Kween, and KLP, ensuring an unforgettable night of music and celebration.

The star-studded guest list included notables such as Phil Jameson of Grinspoon, who effortlessly adopted a new pair of shades, and Sarah Marschke, seen trying on different frames at the Free Sunglass Bar before selecting the perfect pair. Tim Blackwell, Dan Conn, Onye Agbbarakwe, Selina Chhaur, and Jamie Azzopardi were also spotted enjoying the live music and drinks behind the bar, courtesy of DJ FISHER's Fizz seltzer and the Inspired Unemployed's Better Beer.

Founded in Australia in 2003, AM Eyewear emerged from a passion for vintage frames that were challenging to find locally. Over the past two decades, the brand has evolved into a cult favorite, known for its global influence, unwavering commitment to quality, and distinctive designs.

Simon Ponnusamy, founder of AM Eyewear, expressed pride in the brand's journey and commitment to excellence: "Right from the start, the vision of AM Eyewear was to look great, live well, take care of our environment, and see through the difference.
