Specsavers has announced a major global partnership with Elton John, launching an exclusive eyewear collection inspired by key moments in the music icon’s life and career. The Elton John Eyewear collection, available from May 7, 2025, features 13 optical frames and two limited-edition sunglasses, each named after one of his iconic songs, personal milestones, or pivotal periods-such as "Yellow Brick Road," "Tiny Dancer," "Captain Fantastic," and "Crocodile Rock".
The collection is designed to balance boldness with everyday wearability, reflecting Elton John’s legendary style but with a focus on accessibility and versatility. Each frame includes signature details like the ‘E’ mark and a star motif, nodding to Elton’s personal stamp of approval and his illustrious career.
Elton John stated in the press release: “Glasses have always been a big part of who I am. For me, style is all about confidence and expressing who you truly are. That’s exactly what this collection is about, it’s helping people feel fantastic in frames that celebrate their individuality. Specsavers and I share the belief that everyone should have access to eyewear that makes them feel like the best version of themselves. The collection is available in Specsavers’ 2,800+ stores worldwide and online, with prices starting from £130 (around 270 AUD). It emphasises both style and accessibility for Elton’s fans. The launch is supported by a major integrated marketing campaign across YouTube, outdoor, press, social, and in-store channels. Launching first in the UK and Northern Europe, the campaign will also run later this year across Australia and New Zealand.
