Bailey Nelson Opens 51st Australian Retail Store in Melbourne
Eyewear retailer Bailey Nelson brings its quality, Australian-designed eyewear to Glenferrrie Rd, Malvern, opening a new store in one of Melbourne’s best suburban shopping spots and further expanding the brand’s presence in the city’s southeast.
Founded in 2012, Bailey Nelson is a proud local company offering high-quality, designer frames and personalised eyecare at fair prices. The new Malvern store will be its 51st in Australia and 93rd globally, with the brand also prominent in New Zealand, the UK and Canada. It is also rated Best Optical Retailer on Product Review with a score of 4.8/5 from over 1038 reviews.
Bailey Nelson Malvern will be run by Manager Thom Johnson and experienced optometrist Mike Bradley, offering eye tests at least five days a week. The store will be equipped with an OPTOS machine, one of the most sophisticated imaging tools available that allows the optometrist to view the back of the eye at a resolution 4 x greater than a traditional retinal camera, which can only examine around 20 percent of the retina. An OPTOmap image arms the optometrist with more clinical information that facilitates the early detection, management, and effective treatment of eye disorders.
The entire Bailey Nelson design team is based in Sydney, with the brand featuring 400 frames across 86 unique styles and 72 unique colourways. Optical, Sun & Prescription Sun are available in a range of lens options including single vision, multifocal and blue light filter. Customers can purchase two pairs from $250 including standard single vision lenses with anti-reflective coating. Bailey Nelson also offers a broad range of contact lenses.
Ahead of Christmas shopping and end of year Health Fund benefits, the Malvern store will showcase the new Atelier Collection, which introduces 24 optical and sun frames into the Bailey Nelson family, made up of 5 shapes in 12 new colourways. The collection is functional and beautiful, designed for everyday wear. All eyewear is hand-crafted, hand-polished, and considered, a testament to Bailey Nelson’s commitment to providing high quality, affordable frames.
