Lunor Launches "Modern Vintage" M2 Eyewear Collection
The Art Deco style of the 1920s, with its flowing, organic forms and sophisticated aesthetic, is considered one of the most exciting design movements of all time. To this day, it has influenced fashion, jewellery, architecture and design. The eyewear manufacturer Lunor is also inspired by this striking style – and reflects it in the iconic M2 line. In a minimalist streamlined shape and equipped with the popular Lunor W bridge, the filigree vintage frames inspire with an extravagant design language - and present themselves as characterful masterpieces of traditional eyewear art.
Form follows function
The intention of Art Deco is to fuse artistic touches with functional objects. All works from this period are always geometric, symmetrical, streamlined and visually appealing. Following this unique character, feather-light titanium and gently curved details meet in the new M2 line from Lunor. With its elegant and at the same time strict design language, the novelty depicts this concise style epoch in an iconic frame. True to the motto "form follows function", the fine temples of the model are consistently based on function: the temples fit seamlessly into the glasses design with flowing lightness and, thanks to the curved temple ends with pearl eyelets, ensure maximum wearing comfort.
