End of Partnership Between Luxottica and Bulgari
The collaboration between Luxottica and Bulgari, which has lasted for more than 20 years (initiated in 1998), is coming to an end. The license agreement between the two groups, which covered the design, production and distribution of Bulgari sunglasses and optical collections, expires at the end of 2023 and will not be renewed. Bulgari could join Thélios, the eyewear manufacturer of its parent company LVMH, which acquired the Italian jeweler in March 2011.
“Luxottica and Bulgari have been pursuing a fruitful and mutually satisfying collaboration for over twenty years that has enriched the global luxury eyewear market. The two companies will continue to work together to strengthen the partnership until the end of the agreement scheduled for the end of the year,” the two groups explained.
