EssilorLuxottica Renews Michael Kors License and Introduces Versace on Roblox

versace robloxEssilorLuxottica has recently announced the renewal and expansion of its licensing partnerships with renowned fashion brands Michael Kors. The partnership between EssilorLuxottica and Michael Kors has been extended, with the renewal set to take effect on January 1, 2025, and cover a period of five years, with an option for a five-year extension. This early renewal, almost a year before the expiration of the current agreement, reflects the strong confidence and collaboration between the two companies since 2015.

In other news, EssilorLuxottica has also made strides in its collaboration with Versace. As part of the launch of its 2024 men's eyewear campaign, Versace has become the first EssilorLuxottica licensed brand to join the LensCrafters experience on Roblox. This move marks a significant step for Versace as it integrates its branding into the LensCrafters’s store on Roblox, a popular global immersive (metaverse) platform. The campaign features a dedicated photobooth, a portal to a special mini-game, and UGC (user generated content) avatar accessories, including three eyewear models. The mini-game is built around iconic codes of the luxury House and includes interactions inspired by the brand's iconic signifier, the Medusa. The accessories are redeemable only within the Roblox experience by participating in various activities, including the mini game where top players can earn them as a prize.
