Mondottica Expands Luxury Portfolio with Off-White and Palm Angels at SILMO 2025
Global eyewear powerhouse Mondottica Group made a major statement at SILMO 2025 in Paris, unveiling the newest additions to its luxury portfolio: Off-White™ and Palm Angels. Both brands, celebrated for their boundary-pushing aesthetics and deep cultural influence, debuted their first eyewear collections in partnership with Mondottica at the international eyewear showcase.
Designed by Creative Director Sam Giles, Mondottica’s centrally located SILMO stand was impossible to miss. With bold colour-pop brand pods set against a sleek black backdrop, the immersive space captured the energy and individuality of each label. “This year, we wanted to create a space that felt immersive and unapologetically bold,” said Giles. “The contrast of vibrant pods against a black canvas allowed each brand to shine in its own right. It wasn’t just about design—it was about storytelling, and giving Off-White and Palm Angels the spotlight they deserve.”
Palm Angels: Free-Spirited Luxury with Italian Craftsmanship
Launching in January 2026, the Palm Angels collection features 20 unisex sunglasses and optical frames crafted from acetate and metal. Signature pieces include the ‘Angel’, a chunky black acetate frame emblazoned with yellow gothic branding, and the ‘Imperial’, a sculptural gold frame paired with pale blue lenses.
Blending California counterculture with Italian craftsmanship, Palm Angels’ eyewear reflects the brand’s inclusive luxury and appeal to free-thinking, creative audiences.
Mondottica CEO Tony Pessok said the company was “delighted” to welcome both Palm Angels and Off-White into its roster. “It is a very exciting time as we expand our elevated offering and begin working with one of the world’s most popular luxury sportswear brands,” he said.
Off-White: Streetwear Meets Avant-Garde Design
Also debuting at SILMO, Off-White’s SS26 eyewear line showcased 30 sunglass and 24 optical unisex styles, including the standout ‘Virgil M’, a chunky black acetate frame paying homage to the brand’s late founder, and the ‘OW5037’, a sleek cat-eye frame in metal and acetate with Off-White’s signature quotation mark detailing.
“Working with partners who understand our ethos and can deliver the same level of craftsmanship that defines our collections is essential,” said Joey Gabbay, CEO of Bluestar Alliance, parent company of both Off-White and Palm Angels. “This partnership strengthens our ability to develop eyewear collections that serve our global community.”
SILMO 2025: A Launchpad for Innovation
The addition of Off-White and Palm Angels marks a significant expansion of Mondottica’s luxury division, joining other high-profile names such as Vivienne Westwood. “SILMO is more than a trade show—it’s a launchpad,” said Pessok. “The response to Off-White and Palm Angels has been phenomenal. These brands bring a new level of energy and edge to our portfolio, and we’re excited to build on this momentum.”
With 18 brands now under its banner and a renewed focus on high-end, design-led collections, Mondottica continues to strengthen its position as a global leader in premium eyewear innovation.
