Dry Eye Society Announces Melbourne Launch Event for Eye Care ProfessionalsThe Dry Eye Society (DES) is proud to announce the official Melbourne launch event, bringing together eye care professionals with a shared interest in advancing the understanding and management of dry eye disease and ocular surface disorders.

The event will take place on Tuesday 31 March 2026 at Teller, 81 Lygon Street, Brunswick East, with arrival from 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. The evening will provide three hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) focused on emerging research, clinical insights, and collaborative discussion in dry eye management.

The program will feature a series of expert presentations from respected clinicians and leaders in the field:

  • Immunology – The Dry Eye Story – Lyndon Ferguson
  • Beyond the Surface: Dry Eye & the Mental Health Connection – Shaina Zheng
  • DEWS III: What’s In, What’s Out – Jason Holland
  • Cold Therapies – TRP YOUR M8 – Victor Elkhoury

The Melbourne launch marks an important step in expanding the Dry Eye Society’s mission of building a collaborative professional community dedicated to improving outcomes for patients suffering from dry eye disease.

Through events such as this, DES aims to support eye care practitioners by facilitating knowledge exchange, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue, and providing high-quality educational opportunities.
